Renowned Spanish chef José Pizarro, often called the “Godfather of Spanish cuisine in the UK,” brought his celebrated flair to Elephant Rock for a very special culinary event on Friday, 26th September 2025. Pizarro, who has appeared on shows like BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and runs six restaurants in London plus one in Abu Dhabi, teamed up with Eldon’s, Elephant Rock’s signature restaurant, to create a one-night-only dining experience showcasing his unique blend of Spanish cooking and Northern Irish produce.
Guests enjoyed a four-course tasting menu punctuated with ingredients such as Carlingford Loüet Feisser Oysters, Gracehill Black Pudding, Corndale Farm Chorizo and Cinco Jotas Jamón Iberico (widely considered the World’s best ham) highlighting Pizarro’s commitment to simple, quality ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. Each ticket included a signed copy of his latest book, The Spanish Pantry, with the opportunity to meet José in person.
